Description

M-15 (NGC-7078) is a bright globular cluster in Pegasus. It lies at a distance of 33,000 light years from Earth. At this distance, its visual angular size of 10 arc minutes corresponds to an actual diameter of 130 light years. Discovered in 1746 by Maraldi.
