Description

M33, The Triangulum Galaxy is in the top 3 of the largest galaxies in the Local Group. Top dog is Andromeda Galaxy followed by our own Milky Way and the Triangulum in 3rd place. It is merely 3 million light years away...considered right around the block in distances between galaxies.

On this image, I captured more data to add to my previous version, and I also captured some Hydrogen Alpha frames to bring out the numerous large emission (red) nebulae frolicking along with the copious quantities of reflection (blue) nebulae in M33's spiral arms.

Captured on 10/7/2018 and 10/13/2018 in Taxahaw, SC

6 hours of total integration time between Red, Green, Blue and Hydrogen Alpha filters.
