Heart, Soul and Double Cluster

After a long time, I could use again my Star Adventurer, finally far from the LP of my city.
My expectations for the night were so high! I prepared every detail carefully in the days before.
So I reached the place, about 900 meters, likely B5 (a paradise compared to my B9 class).
I went there with very clear in mind what I wanted: Heart, Soul and Double Cluster. Yes, for this 1 year-waited trip the name was perfect: Heart & Soul.
Finally I could frame something to North, invisible from by backyard.
I enjoyed a lot to prepare the gear in the peaceful nature. The night was pleasant, perfect climate, not like the hot cities.

Not everything was golden like the beautiful sunset: I wasted the first hour with some issues.
The platesolve did not work (solved later, at the end of the night...), so I had to manually frame this image; probably simple for an expert itinerant AP but not for me, as from my backyard I use only platesolve. It was great when I could frame it exactly like I had in mind, without so many troubles (in the single frames the nebulae are totally invisible. This was, by the way, totally disappointing and I was also worried for the future image - indeed...).

Very quick postprocessing, I wanted something simple like simple was the gear used:
Canon 6D (no mod), Canon 70-200 @200mm f/5.6. No filters.

It was a great night. I will do better image next time.

Views by Submitters (available since September 19th, 2023) Every image is assigned to 50% of available Submitters. In the event that at least 80% of them don't view the image before its time in the IOTD/TP process expires, it's assigned to the other 50% of Submitters and the process begins anew.
Promotions by Submitters When 3 distinct Submitters promote the image, it moves on to the next stage of the process: evaluation for Top Pick status. This requirement, in addition to anonymization of images and distribution to only a subset of them, prevents biases and ensures that the best images are selected.
Promotions by Reviewers When 3 distinct Reviewers promote the image, it moves on to the next stage of the process: evaluation for IOTD status.
Early dismissal Staff members have a lot of images to inspect on a daily basis, and they can dismiss images if they believe they don't meet the requirements for IOTD/TP selection. If an image is dismissed 5 times, it's removed from the process. This streamlines the process and ensures that any bias present in promotions could be overruled by other staff members.
