This is a combination of OSC data collected through L-Pro & L-eXtreme filters over several nights. The red channels of the L-eXtreme & L-pro were blended to bring out the red filaments. I mostly followed this
tutorial video to blend the data, but used a proper star mask to remove stars from the L-eXtreme red channel instead of the PixelMath approach in the video.
I did not do any cropping, DBE, or PCC before blending the data. Not sure what effect any of those steps may have on blending the data.
I suspect someone with much more experience could pull a lot more out of this data but I'm happy with the result at this point. Very happy with the string of clear nights that allowed me to capture so much data on this and other targets recently. I really enjoyed gathering all this data and seeing the details improve after adding in data from each new session.
