Description

With the moon rising at 2245, I thought I would take a chance on the first (sort of) clear night since the 4-day old moon. The Prawn nebula was pretty low to begin with but managed to follow it for an hour before moonlight and clouds killed the SNR. I still have a lot to learn about polar alignment - try as I might my tracking seems to be off, with shifts of 100pix between first and last frames. Also the images on the right hand side of the sensor always look more trailed (coma) than left. I doubt this is a lens artefact, since I thought lens would give spherically symmetric aberrations.
