Another difficult object for suburban skies (Bortle 6 and up). It is a blue reflexion nebula around magnitude 5.7 star SAO 161569 (HD 170740).

I should probably try a hybrid CLS/Ha/Blue filter setup. The Ha and OIII barely provides data on this region. The blue may come from a broader part of the high energy visible spectrum.

It was clear after rainshowers the day before but suddenly clouds came in before the meridan flip for roughly 25% of total exposure time. A few frames had to be droped.

This part of the sky is sometimes overlooked by imagers and observers alike due to neighboring M16 and M11 that capture all the attention.

Yes, I have stretched a bit more the central part to get the blue color, in case you noticed
