Description

Greetings StarGazers,

What a journey since my last upload... HEQ5 Pro mount optimisation with the famous Rowan kit, upgrade of the guiding scope/cam combo (Artesky 60mm + ASI 220MM Mini).
As if the deep sky gods were against me, the only week of clear skies, since I even don't remember when, was ruined because I fried my PPBA... After 2 months, it finally came back and since then, guess what, clouds, more clouds, always clouds...
I finally managed to capture some photons traveling from the Heart Nebula during 2 hours or so late october.
I was able to take 600s subs for the first time, thanks to the newly optimised mount. Now I know why more is better. Even with only 2h20 of total exposure time, the details are amazing.
The target is beautiful and I can't wait to gather more data.
Tonight, as I waited for the fog to clear up, I followed a quick tutorial from Luke Newbould - aka Lukomatico - to process it in HOO palette. Blessed with the result for a first attempt at it.
If you have suggestions or remarks, let me know.
