Description

The Christmas Tree Cluster is the bright, open cluster of stars in the center of the image. It sits in a region of emission nebulosity, which includes the famous Cone Nebula towards the bottom. These objects are located in the Monoceros constellation and are located about 2,300 light-years from Earth.=10.5px
