Description

I must confess, I'm posting this image, more for the two and a half hours taken on globular cluster M56 in Lyra, than for this "hard to find" comet.  Yes the comet is less than 18 arc minutes away from the cluster at the time of capture June 24, 2022.  Yes it is the comet that is predicted to be nearly naked eye brightness in January and February of 2023.  And yes in a few nights this same comet will be within a degree of M57 the ring nebula.  So it's a nice practice and perhaps a first view for many of us!
Best of imaging,
Dan
