Description

7100 light years away, and caused by the stellar wind of a star ~45 times more massive than our sun, the bubble nebula is a 7 light year diameter shock wave that looks (in this orientation) a bit like a Hershey's chocolate kiss, set in the midst of a broader background filled with ionized Hydrogen gas.
