Description

Coma Berenices is a well known open cluster, wich contains about forty stars and is 280 light years away (It is the second closest star cluster after the Hyades). It is aged half a billion years and extends in the sky on 7 degrees.

The needle galaxy (NGC 4565) is easily visible just below the cluster.

This is my first try with the Star Adventurer 2i, and to prevent walking noise I dither 15 Arcmin in RA. Also, every 30 subs I slightly move the fine adjustment knob (1/8th turn) under the DSLR. It works quite well.

Enjoy.
