Description

The Heart Nebula is one of my favorite targets for multiple reasons.  One of the reasons I like this target is because it is rich in all three narrow band signals which works best in my Bortle 8 skies.  Another reason is that it is traverse my skies in the Midwest at a very high altitude which makes for good contrasts while imaging it.  Overall, I think it is such a wonderful target for amateur astrophotographers such as myself.
After shooting this target a few months ago, I decided to add more time while waiting on another target to rise.  I managed to collect another 10 hours over several weeks in November and December, primarily Ha and Oiii.  The additional time really does this target justice in addition to better processing procedures since the last time I imaged it.  I hope you enjoy!
