☄ “Nebulous Fragmentation” ☄

A few nights ago, it was peak activity for the shower of shooting stars called the Geminids.
This is the most intense shooting star period of the year!

On the evening of December 14, I planned to go out to contemplate and photograph the shooting stars, after a Masterclass given until 10:30 p.m. with Regis Moscardini Coach.

I admit that I had a moment of hesitation and then I decided to listen to the heart.

Equipment in place, I begin to count the shooting stars; standing, nose in the air in a temperature of -8.5°C.
“Okay, when I’ve seen 100 shooting stars, I’m going back.” I told myself.

After 57 minutes, it was done!
The cold was starting to bite... 😅

I share with you this photograph of a beautiful shooting star.
This disintegrated in a very aesthetic manner, giving itself the appearance of a filamentous nebula. ✨

In the second photo, I put its different phases of evolution with the time of the different shots.

I had never observed such a thing before.
And you ?

Make way for the dream,
Jeff
