Description

This open star cluster of about 30 stars is located 7500 light years away in the constellation of Cygnus at a declination of +54 degrees.  It is a magnitude 10 cluster which spans 2 arc-minutes in our apparent view.  This corresponds to a diameter of 5 light years.

This is a tight, colorful cluster which stands out well from the background stars.  The sky seems dusty in this region, leading to a slight reddish tint to the stars and background.
