Description

Had another display of beautiful noctilucent clouds in the wee hours of June 18 in the south interior BC. , Canada. Wow, I have never seen these clouds before and here they are twice in 2 weeks! Noctilucent clouds are seeded by meteor dust and form from ice crystals at the edge of space, 82 kms above the Earth. They can be seen at twilight and only during the summer months and in the north sky. This shot was a 1/2 second exposure at F/6 at ISO 2500. Captured with my Canon 6D and a 70mm lens.
