Description

Despite the full moon, I have tried to take this picture of M63 because we have so few good nights these days that it is a pity to waste them...
Located in Canes Venatici, this large multiarm spiral galaxy is 23 million light years away. It was discovered in 1779 by Pierre Mechain. Its angular size is 12' x 7'.
