Description

The weather was gradually fading, and I was not sure if I was even going to be able to get the 1 hour and 54 minutes imaging time, that I did. Basically, I went with 1 minute subs in the worst part of my sky, plus a street lamp in the way just to make it harder, and got 114 of them. I like the starless version of this galaxy and the regular star version too, and so I included them both. Up close the details are a little bit of a struggle, and it is more noisy than I hoped for, but I think it is due to the signal and sky conditions, as much as anything else - i.e. me! I used the 130EDT as well, in the hope of getting a close up on the galaxy, rather than the normal small refractor and its wider field. Naturally, by doing so, some of the object gets cropped because of the field of view. Thanks everyone...
