Description

This was really just a test of the ApexED-L in my RC10. I hadn't shot this target before, and it seemed like a good fit for the FOV with the 2600MM. I'm really pleased with the result of shooting at f/5.2 with a 10" aperture!

I had a tracking drift issue last night that made all my stars egg-shaped. It's not the optics, because short exposures show perfectly round stars (and out-of-focus images show the scope is well-collimated).

This was rendered in the Pixelmath version of SHO that's described in this article. It's still one of my favorite palettes. https://thecoldestnights.com/2020/06/pixinsight-dynamic-narrowband-combinations-with-pixelmath/
