Description

IC 443 is a super nova remnant about 5000 light years away from Earth.  Somewhere in there is a pulsar, or neutron star which is what is left over from the original star.  The estimated age of the super nova is between 3000 and 30,000 years.  So pretty recent, in universal time measurements!  I find these targets fascinating, as when you look at this, Veil, and say, Crab Nebula, you are seeing the explosion in all of its stages.  This was my first attempt of this target with my new OGMA camera.  I am going to give the processing another go, although I think I did pretty well with very little data.  Mama Nature came in with clouds last night after only 20 sups at 600sec. Overall I am happy with this image, but would like to go back and get more data!  Clear skies

Title: IC 443 Revison-learning to use GHS in PIX...still need more subs!!

Description: This is a revision of my first processing try of this cool target. I am learning how to use GHS in Pixinsight. Getting the basics, but still have a long way to go. It also proves that the more original data you have, the better your final image will be!! Clear Skies
