Description

Hi all,
I was not going to share this, but I feel that it is good to share the great, with the not so great.  It is how we all learn in the long run.  I just acquired some new hardware items.  A new mount, and a new scope.  Well, it has been a learning curve to say the least.  I am getting a lot of drifting in my mount due to what I think might be a combination of imbalance and learning how to tweak PHD2 guiding to help counteract a poorly balanced system.  If you had seen what Pixinsight was able to get out of these images, which were all in focus, but all over the place, well it was pretty amazing to see what that software can do.  Then I decided to enter the fray of the new BlurX plugin.  I don't care what anyone says, that is an amazing piece of software.  It was part of salvaging a long night of imaging with this target!!  So far, I can only recommend it.  I currently am on the trial side, but will probably end up purchasing it.  Anyway, here is my first attempt at IC410 with my new Celestron 8 inch scope, and Starizona 6.3 focal reducer.  Clear Skies!
