104x40s mono 60d iso1600 -69.3 minutes -CLS CCD filter

104x50s RGB 550d iso 1600 -86.66 minutes uv/ir cut filter

The light frames listed above are referring to how many exposures of the deep sky object were taken and also the length of each exposure which are used for stacking in the program pixinisght, the dark, flat, and bias frames are calibration frames which help to eliminate different types of noise, vignetting, and dust on the sensor. It requires many hours of work to produce just one astrophotography image.

Currently I am working on a multiple camera platform using same sized sensors with the samyang 135mm f2 lens. It is challenging to work with and the data from the third camera has not yet been combined. This data is compiled from a monochrome full spectrum 60d and a full spectrum 550d.
