Description

Here’s another attempt at processing this very challenging target.  This is definitely one of the more challenging target to acquire and process.

This is Sh2-119 - The Clamshell Nebula, a very faint nebula located next to the more popular North America & Pelican Nebulae in the constellation Cygnus, around 2,200 light years away.  All three signals (S, H, & O) are quite faint.  Nevertheless the beauty of the target makes it all worth it.  This version attempts to get more of an actual “clamshell” color palette.  Hope you enjoy!
