Description

Messier 97, the Owl Nebula, is a planetary nebula in Ursa Major. The nebula gets its name from the appearance of owl-like "eyes". Estimated distance is 2600 light years.

M108 is a barred spiral galaxy about 45M light-years away, with an estimated mass of 125 Billion Suns.
