Description

After a full day of driving around in the country and taking photos, we finished our trip by the sea at sunset. To make the day complete, when we arrived home we pointed our telescope to a spiral galaxy with an active galactic nucleus, known as Caldwell 7, or NGC 2403. Reading about it, I was surprised to learn that NGC 2403 is a far away member of the M81 group. It is famous for having one of the largest known star-forming HII regions. It hosted the nearest and brightest supernova (SN 2004dj)  of the past 17 years as well.

Yes, and we need to get a bigger telescope!

Acknowledgments
After months of darkness, between 22 February - 5 March 2022, we observed a series of very rare phenomena called "Clear Skies", coincident also with New Moon. We appreciate Mother Nature's collaboration in making this project possible.
