Description

After of two months of no imaging, I have no new data to play with. So I decided to check into my repository for unused data and I found an hour of Sii for the pelican nebula, that I can use with my previous HOO image to create a SHO image.

Take away form this session - Take calibration frames right away after imaging sessions. I struggled to get the images calibrated, failed and ended up cropping the image. There's plenty of details that's in this region that I couldn't capture with 7 hours of imaging. Not sure if it is insufficient data or if I imaged on not the most ideal seeing conditions, Or to blame ED102 FCD100. Though the scope produced some nice images, the stars were not tight and round.
I had a chance to compare the RAW subs with pictures taken with Esprit100 and Esprit100 was way better. I will have to investigate and improve the acquisition.

I am in the process of learning and improving the processing techniques. Will be happy to hear feedbacks and critiques.

Thanks,
Deepan
