Description

Another shot of Saturn and its moons as Saturn begins its slow reduction in size and brightness...

This is a composite of two lucky imaging sequences at different exposure lengths:
Sequence 1:  17890 x 16.67 ms to capture Saturn (7% used)
Sequence 2: 18 x 4.00 s to capture the moons (56% used)

Wavelets and a round of noise reduction was applied in AstroSurface.

I then aligned the two resultant images and made some additional noise reduction and color correction adjustments in Photoshop.

From left-to-right:
HD 211990 -- Rhea -- Dione -- Saturn -- Tethys -- Titan

HD 211990 snuck into the exposure but I liked how it balanced everything, so I left it in, why not?
