Description

The Moon and Venus setting a little after 6 pm last night, taken from home at Glanmire in New South Wales. If you look closely you can see the bright star across to the left which is Aldebaran (alpha Tauri), the brightest star in the constellation of Taurus (the bull). Just below Aldebaran I can just make out the visual double stars theta 1 and theta 2 Tauri.
