Description

Captured the Pacman nebula a couple of nights ago from my driveway using Ha, Su & OIII filters, so I processed it as a SHO and HSO, not sure which I like better, but the HSO seems to show more detail in nebula when you zoom in.  I want to capture more data as I lost a lot of images when the wind starting gusting; however, the weather does not look promising the next few nights so I will post this one as is for now.  It turned out better than I would have expected given all the frames I had to delete.

NGC 281 is H II region in the constellation Cassiopeia and is about 10,000 light years away.  Some of the prominent features, that I found cool, are the dark lanes of obscuring dust and dense knots of gas and dust.
