Description

The Rosette nebula in Monoceros is an oft-photographed object. Rightly, so. I think it is one of the most impressive nebula regions in the sky. As my previous take (Caldwell 49 - Rosette Nebula) was a bit lacking in depth, I decided to give it an another go with the Epsilon. The final revision shows the nebula in a modified SHO palette, while the mouseover shows it using the RGB data enhanced with the narrowband with the continuum subtraction technique.

I find I have no technical stuff to write today - it seems I'm settling in with my setups.
