Description

Long story here.. no, not my scope! I was using the C14 in the West Dome at the George Observatory. Seeing varied throughout the night but I think I have a couple of shots where it was decent. As this was the International Observe the Moon night, it was a public night at the George and I was showing and giving "tours" of the moon throughout the night. As I was presenting in Firecapture, and when between groups, I'd set a region of interest and turn FC loose to grab a few frames. I had limited hardware available to me and had to shoot through a 90' diagonal, which I had to correct for in Photoshop. Only about 4 of the twenty shot are worth working up. For the public, I did have a focal reducer on the scope so I could have the wide view. First decent lunar shot in about 4 months.  This particular region is above Plato in Mare Imbrium including the terminator.
