Description

Abell 85 or LBN 576 is a very faint Supernova Remnant in the constellation of Cassiopeia. Located approximately 9780 light years away from us, it spans about 98 light years in diameter and is thought to be around 10,000 years old. 

Acquisition details :

- Ha: 32 x 1200sec
- Oiii: 30 x 1200sec
- RGB: 95 x 600sec

Total integration time +/- 21h. Photons gathered between September and October 2022.

Probably one of the most challenging that I have processed so far due to the endless number of stars in the background which are overwhelming. Could have been a tad better but I have decided to keep it as-is for the time being and I will give it a new try next year.
