Description

Nikon 80-200 f/2.8 @80-2.8. I shortened exposures in order to minimize star´s over exposure. This lens only do it well at 80mm, at larger focals it present serious agstismatism. Chromatic Aberrations are an issue all along the range.

The sky where I took this images is absolutely astonishing!! In the middle of The Andes, in the Province of Mendoza, Argentina. That night in particular... moonless and very calm, almost perfect!. I wish I had had a better lens!!

It´ s been a long time since I shoot this images! I had´ t considered them seriously because I got frustrated with purple halos and CA, so I had given up processing!! But, being that nowadays we ain´ t able to photograph (due to pandemic restrictions ) Decided to process old data anyway. And that´ s what I´ve gotten so far!
