Description

On Monday, there was full cloud cover, which was forecasted to disappear around midnight from west to east. The darker sites lie about 1 hour to the east, so i went to a nearby elevated site with good northwest view and comparably dark. However, at the horizon there's the glow of Haiger, Dillenburg and the Ruhrpott.

Luckily, this time no haze or clouds. The ion tail got brighter with respect to the dust tail, and the latter seems to be even more sutuctured than a week ago. Beneath the synchrones, the tail is two-split, which could be syndynes, originating from a non-uniform dust particle size distribution.
