Description

Continuing my journey through the various sections of the Cygnus Loop / Veil Nebula complex, here is Pickering's Triangle.
This is the remnant of a supernova that is believed to have happened 5,000 years ago.

UPDATE:
Captured significantly more time on this object, bringing total integration to over 26 and 1/2 hours.
Noticed significant amount of O3 in the areas between the object, this shows up as the fuzziness in this image.
Had I attempted to eliminate all of that data, the center part would have clipped to black and I would have lost signal in the more prominent parts of the image.

Equipment:
* SkyWatcher Esprit 100 Triplet
* SkyWatcher EQ6-R Pro Mount
* Canon t3i w/HA Mod and the Antlia ALP-T 5nm dual narrow-band filter.

Location:  Back yard (Bortle 7)
Captured with Astroberry (Kstars / EKOS / INDI)
Processed in PixInsight

82x180s Lights, Calibrated with Darks, Flats and Flat-Darks (4.1 hours of integration)
