Description

I spent a long time on this to try and tease out the tidal stream which wasn't easy despite the extended exposure time and dark site.

I had seen some images with extended and almost spiral tidal stream and which i initially thought, wow!, and subsequently that i had never seen or heard of anything like that before. Further investigation brings two schools of thought; one that there is a single loop and two, that there is a double loop. My efforts managed to confirm half of one loop, so all i can say is that at least one loop exists and unless i spend months on this, and develop better processing skills, it will have to remain that way for me ;-)

This is 248 x 300" Lum, and 64 x 180" R and G, and 57 x 180" B taken at the start of July at PixelSkies. The tidal stream didn't become evident until after i had over 100 Lum frames, and i didn't see any improvement on where i got to.

Thanks for looking
