Description

The 9th goal, Clavius, is a large lunar crater that is featured in the Lunar 100. Clavius is located in the southern highlands of the Moon and is known for its distinctive circular shape, terraced walls, and central peaks. It is one of the largest craters on the Moon, spanning over 230 kilometers in diameter, and is of significant scientific interest due to its well-preserved features and the valuable information it provides about the Moon's geology and history of impacts.
