Description

My first Hubble download. The NGC2775 or Caldwell 48 in the constellation Cancer.
NGC 2775 belongs to the Antlia-Hydra Cluster of galaxies and is the most prominent member of a small galaxy group known as NGC 2775 group, part of the Virgo Supercluster, along with the Local Group.
Created on October 28 2019. The strange looking galaxy with a blown out centre.
Image consists of three frames 555nm, 336nm and 275nm filters mapped to RGB respectively.
A lot can be said about this first attempt but I like the possibility to use Hubble data.
Processing in PixInsight and PS/LR

As a sidenote, the RC NoiseXterminator worked very well on the noisy HST data.
