## Processing
Processing was a pain and it took me several days and multiple headaches. Even asked for help
here but I was on my own in the end.
Here's how the final image was created.
Stars-only stack:
* created in DSS using median
* comet residuals cleaned up in Photoshop using healing brush
* a little bit of Gaussian blur, because I felt the stars were too exact
Comet-only stack:
* created in Pixinsight, using "sieving" technique described
here. Used winsorized kappa clipping as rejection algorithm.
* histogram stretching in Photoshop
* light pollution / gradient removal using GradientXTermnator
* tried many star trail residuals cleanup methods, but in the end I used healing brush and a exposure mask
Final picture:
* combined in Photoshop
* double flare cut from one of the subs and color adjusted
* adjusted in Lightroom - enhanced clarity and colours, reduced stars
