Description

Messier 3 (NGC 5272) is a Globular Cluster of stars in the constellation of Canes Venatici and is made up of something in the region of 500,000 stars and is approximately 34,000 light years from Earth.

Derived from 40 Luminance and 30 each of RGB subs of 60 seconds each taken on the Atik 314L+ through my Williams Optics Zenithstar 80mm II ED APO on an HEQ5 Pro Synscan mount using Nebulosity software. It is guided by a QHY5 through a Skywatcher ST80mm Achro.
