Description

This image has more than surprised me, in a positive way. The integration time is really short, but I was really amazed to see the detail that M33 showed. I'm definitely trying that galaxy with a 200mm FL in the future. Well, and not only did M33 and M31 showed quite a bit of detail, but also the IFN (Integrated Flux Nebula), which is extremely, is (kind of) visible in the image. If you want, chech Rogelio Bernal Andreo's Fantastic image of the same field (M31 vs M33), and look for the grey-ish nebulosity east of Mirach, in this image is in the "upper" side of the star, and in the "left hand side" of M31. It's barely visible, but given the 20minutes exposure, I was impressed.

Image was Registered and Stacked using DSS, Post-processed (Stretching, Levels, Curves, SMI, High-pass filtering, Saturation, Vibrance, Rosen's LRGB, HLVG and final adjustments) in Adobe Photoshop CC, and finally exported via Adobe Lightroom.

Taken from Rural Skies (Bortle 3-4), on a clear night (actually morning....), from Cristina, MG, Brazil (22ºS latitude). Thanks for looking.
