Description

NGC 4656 is a magnitude 10.4 galaxy in Canes Venatici, sometimes called the 'Hockey Stick' due to its distorted shape. It has an apparent size of 13.8 x 3.3 arc minutes, and is estimated to be 25 million light years away. I gathered over 10 hours of data to try to tease out detail in the faint star clouds.
