Under light pollution conditions (mag 4) a test with M81 using my 8 inch f/4 Newtonian and an L filter. Varied cloudiness during the added to the challenge.
I had to really cover up for problems in the background so it ended up looking very clipped. But perhaps with 8-10 hours of data it could be a nice image.
