Description

I observed this object on 18 June 2015 at the Black Canyon of the Gunnison in Colorado using a 12” Skywatcher Dobsonian: Not much more than a dim patch. Appears to be only moderately concentrated towards the core. Appears to have a large halo.

I observed this object on 25 September 2016 at the Okie-Tex Star Party using a 12” Skywatcher Dobsonian: This globular cluster is a dim patch with some brightening towards the center.

I obtained the calibrated lights frames used to create the final image from Telescope Live. The frames were imaged by the CHI-1-CMOS Telescope at the El Sauce Observatory in Chile.
