IC4592 - The Blue Horsehead nebula

Description

Heres an image taken over the past couple of nights. IC 4592, known more commonly as the Blue Horsehead Nebula. A beautiful reflection neb in my opinion, often overshadowed and forgotten about as it lies right next to the Rho Ophiuchi complex.

A little fact i learned while shooting this - the star that makes up the eye of the 'Horsehead' is actually a small cluster of up to 7 stars!

Could do with alot more data on this to bring out more colour but theres too many targets up there right now, dont want to spend too much time on a single object, especially with clear nights being so rare! Hope this looks okay, every screen i view the image on it looks different. Think i'm going to have to invest in a dedicated processing monitor and some calibration software!

Exposure details:

3 hours 30 minutes made up of 180 second exposures, f3.5, ISO 800, calibration frames, 200mm.

Taken on an Astrotrac with a Canon 1100D and EF200L.
