Another attempt at the SHO (Hubble) palette. This one borne of necessity as the target was westering before I realized how little LRGB data I had. Both Moon and Calendar were working against me. Interestingly, this nebula showed nicely even in broadband! But, narrowband is what I decided to process.

This time I ran the Light Pollution Correction tool on the individual channels before combining using the SHO3 option in Astro Pixel Processor:

Ha = Red 50, Green 100, Blue 25
OIII = Red 25, Green 75, Blue 100
SII = Red 100, Green 50, Blue 25

I took the weighting of OIII down to 1.5x and SII up to 2.5x (from the presets).

From there, I saved a mildly stretched and saturated tiff and imported to Affinity Photo. A further stretch and curves adjustment was made, then StarXTerminator was run. This resulted in strongly blue tinted stars, so a Channel Mixer adjustment was used on the Stars Only layer to tone that down. In hindsight, more could have been done, as well as saturation and vibrance adjustments to the starless nebula layer before merging it all back together.

Once the layers were merged, Selective Color adjustments were made, and a then a Clarity Sharpening.
