Description

While searching for exciting objects, I came across the hidden planetary nebula IPHASX J055226.2+323724 in the star cluster M37.
IPHASX J055226.2+323724 appears to be the oldest planetary nebula ever found.
I tried to photograph the nebula with a dual narrowband filter on the few clear winter nights.
After about 28 hours of exposure time, slight structures of the nebula became visible when stretching.
I would have needed more exposure time, but I am quite satisfied.
Maybe again next year.....
