The last time I photographed this target was right after getting the FLT91 (
Previous Work). This time, with the TSA-120, I've been eagerly anticipating capturing it again, hoping to resolve more details. Due to the smaller sensor size of the camera in this setup (294MC Pro only has a 4/3-inch sensor), mosaic is required to capture the entire Horsehead Nebula region. So, I dedicated seven nights to photographing it.
With 12cm aperture and the assistance of BXT, the nebula's details are indeed much more pronounced than before. During post-processing, I also discovered many mini galaxies in the background. Unfortunately, in this image, some bright stars exhibit halo effects. I suspect it occurred during the later days of shooting in high humidity (above 95%), causing excessive moisture in the air. Hopefully, in the future, I can capture this target in a drier location.
