Description

Here in the Northeast part of the USA, we have had nothing but clouds, smoke from fires in Canada, a full Moon, and short nights.  So imaging has been very very difficult.  Amazingly however, on the evening of June 21st, the summer solstice, here in the Northern Hemisphere, it cleared up where I  live north of Boston MA.  I was finally able to get out!  However, with the Sun taking forever to set, and the upper sky bright for a long time, I was not able to actually get an image till around 10P!  I imaged Messier 13, while waiting for IC 5146 to get high enough to see from where I live.  Worth the wait!  This is one of my better images of this very interesting Reflection/Emission nebula in the constellation of Cygnus.  It is now back to nebula season...Let's hope for more Clear Skies!!
Mark
