Description

Phew, this is my first image since my accident last April, actually it is also the first three hours of clear sky since then. It is a lousy picture taken with a modded D5300 without NB filter and calibration in that it lacks sharpness and contrast alongside blown up stars. Anyway, this image is of emotional value.

My mount is still working after 3.5 months outside in the rain. Thanks to my land lord's help it is now back on the balcony. That old Orion Atlas EQ-G is undestructable.

Since a typhoon is forecasted, I won't be able to retake the image soon for a better one. Oh, yes and Jupiter is nicely positioned in the east after midnight. Well, well, step-by-step.

Hope everybody is keeping well under clear skies!

CORRECTION: This image was taken with a Samyang 135mm lens, not a Celestron C8. Thanks for the heads up, @UlfG
