Description

This object is an unassuming series of faint dark nebulae located in the constellation of Camelopardalis at a declination of +55 degrees.  As seen in the mouseover, this object contains many LDN objects.

Like many dark nebulae, little information is available on these objects.  Their distances are not known.

There are usually a few interesting nuggets to be uncovered when imaging these obscure objects, but unfortunately I did not find any unexpected jewels here.  The most interesting things is that, as shown in the Astrobin mouseover, the separation of the central dark cloud into 4 distinct dark nebulae (Barnard 8, 9, 11 and 13) does not make much sense to me.
